IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor degree in graphic design or related field required.
- Minimum three years of professional design and web development experience required.
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat; experience with Premier Pro a plus.
- Appreciation for core aesthetic principles to ensure deployment of messaging campaigns align with our core design themes and high standards for visual output.
- Experience working as a designer, developer or animator in a professional design/advertising agency, major tech startup, or Fortune 500 brand.
- Experience coding responsive websites with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and other modern languages and libraries.
- Experience creating engaging illustrated animations for web and video.
- Experience with Webflow.io, Unbounce and Optimizely platforms.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Creating and maintaining style guides for our multi-brand product portfolio with guidance from our Director of Marketing and Executive Leadership.
- Using design elements such as color, typography, illustration, and photography to create striking and compelling layouts.
- Designing jaw-dropping graphics for email marketing campaigns, digital advertising campaigns, videos, product documentation pages, marketing landing pages, marketplace product listings, and more — including product screenshots, vector graphics, and animated illustrations.
- Working closely with our digital marketing specialist to ensure that outgoing campaigns and other assets meet our brand guidelines and represent our brands at the highest standard.
- Collaborating with product marketing managers to prioritize projects and manage workflow to ensure projects meet production deadlines.
- Proofreading and editing comprehensive layouts to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Working directly with the marketing team and external vendors as needed to ensure successful delivery of press ready files for print and optimized files for mobile and web.
- Staying current on the latest tools, trends, styles, methodologies, thought leaders, libraries and more to ensure your web development work makes use of the most modern coding technologies and best practices.
- Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of print production, color requirements, preflight packaging, and common print pitfalls to avoid.
- Optimizing all graphics and website code for desktop and mobile devices.
- Making recommendations for stock imagery purchases as needed.
- Creating and maintaining a digital archive of all creative assets — organized and accessible in a collaborative design platform.
- Participating in regular team meetings and company meetings.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
